STATE-OF-THE-ART MECHANICAL ARCHITECTURE
Developed with AGENHOR, partner of H. Moser & Cie., the HMC 730 calibre powering the Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date reinterprets the architecture of the HMC 902 movement in a hand-wound version. For this evolution, AGENHOR removed the entire automatic winding system as well as the oscillating weight. A decision that opens up a new arena for mechanical freedom and makes it possible to integrate the Dual Time display and the date within the available space.

The HMC 730 movement retains the fundamental qualities of the HMC 902, notably the column wheel and the micro-tooth system developed by AGENHOR, while adopting a more classic, more tactile character befitting a hand-wound watch. Using the retrograde principle to enable the elapsed minute hand to jump instantly using the energy accumulated and then released by a snail cam, it allows the values to be read with greater accuracy. It is equipped with a double barrel providing a 72-hour power reserve, displayed on the back of the movement to preserve the purity of the dial. The date can be adjusted both forwards and backwards without risk to the movement – a rare level of user convenience in such a sophisticated horological architecture.

It is limited to 100 pieces, as rare as they are spectacular. The second, in steel, is the very essence of purity with a White fumé dial and a subtle industrial aesthetic. This piece is not limited, but is no less extraordinary. On the dials of these two models, stripped of any logo and indices, several satellites rotate: In the centre, the main disc, which has been completely skeletonised, displays the minutes over an arc of 120°; three smaller discs are arranged around this disc, hidden under the dial, turning around their own axes and revealing the hour numerals in turn in a window on the dial.

Beating at the heart of the Pioneer Flying Hours is the HMC 240 automatic calibre. Equipped with a bi-directional winding system, it provides a minimum power reserve of three days. STREAMLINER ALPINE DRIVERS EDITION
Born of the desire of Alpine drivers to sport a watch as stylish as their single-seaters, the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition takes the collaboration between H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports to the very limits of a mechanical piece. It features the high-flying movement developed by H. Moser & Cie.’s partner AGENHOR, for the first time in a skeleton version. Aesthetically, it is the result of direct dialogue with the drivers themselves:
an open dial that reveals the gears, like a transparent body revealing the car’s engineering, and powerful blue and white colour codes chosen to both evoke speed and echo Alpine’s signature identity.

The skeletonisation of this model takes its inspiration from the racetrack. Two of the bridges visible through the dial are V-shaped, in a nod to the triangulated suspensions of single-seaters. The movement’s central bridge is shaped like a driver’s helmet, a tribute to all those who take to the track. Positioned on the dial side, the skeleton rotor echoes the dynamic lines of an Alpine A110 wheel rim, underlining the organic link between engine and movement with each rotation.

With its emphasis on minimalism and legibility, this chronograph features a central minute and seconds display, with no subdials. It is equipped with the Flyback function, which enables the chronograph to be restarted instantaneously, because in Formula 1, as in watchmaking, every second is a precious goal to be conquered.

Every 30 seconds, the hand flashes back to its starting position, adding a unique and captivating burst of choreographed animation. With its design inspired by measuring instruments and speedometers, this retrograde complication sits perfectly with the sporty aesthetic of the Pioneer  collection, and is water-resistant to 120 metres.

H. Moser & Cie. remains true to its minimalist philosophy by applying its logo in transparent lacquer to the Midnight Blue fumé dial, like a secret signature. This discreet approach serves to showcase the essence of the complication: the retrograde mechanism – displayed on the dial so its operation can be admired – which has a double snail cam that enables the seconds hand to complete its journey in 30 seconds. The ingenuity of the Pioneer Retrograde Seconds lies in the transparency of its mechanism, designed to be both technical and playful. At the end of each cycle, the snail, which is in permanent contact with the sector or finger, releases the energy  accumulated and stored by a hairspring located under the seconds hand axis, with a stud holder mounted on the mainplate. The rack, which is also visible under the retrograde seconds bridge, positions the hand precisely on its path and releases the accumulated energy all at once, while keeping the mechanism under control.

H. Moser & Cie. chose its flagship Streamliner collection for the first model in its partnership with Alpine Motorsport. A very fitting choice if you think of the high-speed trains that inspired both the name and the curves of this line. And, for the occasion, the Manufacture has removed all superfluous material, creating a fully skeletonised version that enables the movement to be admired from every angle. Embodying precision and exceptional engineering, the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition is an ode to transparency and three-dimensionality. At the heart of this timepiece is a one-minute flying tourbillon fitted with a cylindrical hairspring positioned at 6 o’clock, which showcases the expertise of H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. Invented in the 18th century, the cylindrical hairspring rises perpendicularly around the upper stem of the balance spindle. A frequent feature on marine chronometers at the time, it offers the advantage of developing concentrically. The cylindrical hairspring – fitted with two Breguet overcoils attached at two points – reduces the friction of the pivots and improves the isochronism properties, all the more so if the hairspring is combined with a tourbillon, as is the case here. Nowadays, the cylindrical hairspring is difficult to produce because it requires expertise that has been lost. Each cylindrical hairspring is shaped by hand, and it takes ten times as long to produce as a traditional hairspring. H. Moser & Cie. loves to play with contrasts, and here the brand has enjoyed combining traditional expertise with an ultra-modern watch.

At 12 o’clock, the skeletonised main dial is topped with a small translucent domed dial, following the curve of the sapphire crystal and sporting the signature blue colour of H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports, in a bright and distinctive shade thanks to the clarity of the synthetic spinel used. Very high quality and difficult to machine, synthetic spinel brings intensity and added value to the watch. Designed for discerning connoisseurs, the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition stands out thanks to its timeless elegance and understated sophistication. With no logo at all, it features only a discreet engraving of the brand names on the reverse side, underlining its exclusivity and pure minimalist look. The indices feature Super-Luminova®, while the inserts which top the hour and minute hands are made in Globolight®, guaranteeing perfect legibility even at night. As for the strap, H. Moser & Cie. has opted for a blue moulded rubber strap which imitates the texture of a textile strap, prioritising comfort without compromising sophistication.

The automatic calibre HMC 811 is fully skeletonised on both the front and on the reverse side, where a large openworked gold rotor can be seen oscillating. The beauty of this movement is further enhanced by the lightness of the flying tourbillon, which twirls gracefully under the sapphire crystal.

This powerful, sleek timepiece is spectacular yet easy to wear thanks to its compact design. Water-resistant to 12 ATM, it is as perfect for sports as it is for dressy occasions. The watch will be produced in a limited series of 100 pieces.

In 2022, H. Moser & Cie. presented the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton and made a remarkable entry into the skeleton watch segment, while defining its own codes for the skeleton aesthetic. Using the same signatures, the Manufacture is launching its second skeleton model, this time part of the Streamliner collection. By removing as much material as possible, H. Moser & Cie. has sculpted every detail of the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton with precision, resulting in a creation with a stark, refined aesthetic. The skeletonisation process has produced an extremely refined, luminous piece, highly transparent with incredible depth that reveals all the beauty of the watch mechanism, usually hidden from view. The barrel, which has also been hollowed out, offers a view of the spring, allowing the wearer to check that it is wound correctly. Right through the watch you can see the rotor, which has also been openworked. Particular attention has been paid to symmetry, ensuring the proportions are perfectly balanced. The minimalist finishes are modern, adorning the anthracite main plate and bridges with drawn strokes combined with precise bevelling.

Featuring a 40.0-mm steel cushion case water-resistant to 12 ATM, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton offers extraordinary ergonomics thanks to the design which includes a fully integrated steel bracelet with no lugs on the case. The case middle features recessed and satin-finished forms on the sides, with alternating polished and brushed surfaces. It is topped by a subtly domed sapphire crystal, echoed by the see-through case back. Extending these curves, the integrated steel bracelet is elegantly arced to follow the line of the wrist. Highly complex in construction, this bracelet has extremely fluid lines based on organic forms. Pointing to gold- plated indices, the three-dimensional hour and minute hands made from two sections feature inserts with Globolight®, an innovative ceramic-based material containing Super-LumiNova®.

Seemingly floating in the middle of a void, a one-minute flying tourbillon positioned at six o’clock comes to life to power this exceptional timepiece. A marvel of ingenuity, this automatic HMC 814 skeleton movement is equipped with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company Precision Engineering AG. Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected and the effect of friction reduced, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection.
