A MODERN, MA GNE TIC S TATEMENT
Bremont expands its Terra Nova collection with a powerful new expression of modern watchmaking: the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour, now transformed in full black DLC. This dramatic all-black execution brings an unexpected new attitude to the celebrated Terra Nova Jumping Hour line.
The Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour Stealth Black delivers a unique style statement within Bremont’s field watch line. The 38mm case and bracelet are crafted from robust 904L stainless steel and finished with a full black diamond like carbon coating, enhancing corrosion and scratch resistance while ensuring lasting durability, comfort, and resilience in any environment.

First introduced in 2024, the Terra Nova collection reinterprets the field watch through a modern British lens. Its geometric cushion-shaped case, low profile, and shortened lugs draw inspiration from early 20th-century military pocket and trench watches, while presenting a distinctly contemporary tool watch design.
Inspired by early 20th-century trench watches, the Montres à Guichet design of the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour brings a historic format into sharp, modern focus. Hours and minutes are displayed through vertical apertures, delivering exceptional clarity, while the central sweeping seconds hand over the Wayfinder logo in full super-luminova (green emission) evokes a traditional compass point, reinforcing Bremont’s enduring commitment to exploration and adventure. The monochrome execution amplifies legibility and presence, giving the watch a striking, modern edge.

Davide Cerrato, Bremont CEO comments:
“The introduction of a Stealth Black DLC edition to the Terra Nova Jumping Hour brings a new attitude to the montres à guichet design. Modern and unexpected, the all-black aesthetic makes a powerful statement — transformative in its impact, sharpening the design and strengthening its character.”

Complimenting the contemporary Terra Nova case, two strap variants are available: a Terra Nova bracelet crafted from polished and brushed 904l steel with black DLC finish and deployment clasp; and a black leather bund strap, providing exceptional comfort and protection to the wearer. The introduction of a bund strap to the Terra Nova field watch line continues the collection’s nod to early 20th century watch design as they were first used by pilots during WWII to protect their wrists from extreme temperatures. The design also gained popularity amongst alpinists, equally seeking comfort in extreme environments. For a more classic approach, the bund can be removed to reveal a more traditional, black calf leather strap.

At its heart is the BC634, developed exclusively with movement manufacturer Sellita. Engineered for precision and reliability, the movement delivers a sharp and instantaneous hour jump in under one-tenth of a second — a technically impressive complication presented with clean, minimalist confidence.
Following the sell-out success of the limited edition cupro-aluminium bronze edition in April 2025, and the 904l steel core edition in October 2025, the introduction of a full black DLC edition transforms the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour into something altogether more dramatic — a statement of purpose and intent. It is modern, dramatic, and magnetic — a watch that commands attention without compromise. Powerful in design and execution, it reinforces Bremont’s belief that bold ideas and mechanical innovation can coexist with rugged, real-world performance.
