Chronofixe unveils the new ”Asterix” edition, paying tribute to the sixteenth comic book album, first published in 1970 ”Asterix in Switzerland”.

Following the success of the firs·t Chronofixe vs. Asterix collaboration, the French watch brand founded in 1857 is proud to announce its latest creation, once again in partnership with Asterix and Seconde/Secori1de/.

This special eciiti0n commemorates the 55th anniversary of Asterix in Switzerland while playfully blending the heritage of Swiss watchmaking with the beloved Gaulish hero.

Conceived b,Y’.’. Romaric Andre, founder of the creative label Seconde/Seconde/, the watch reinterP,rets the aesthetics of the famous Swiss safes by Ferner. The bidirectional bezel cleverly mimics a safe’s combination wheel, while the dial depicts Asterix in a whimsical pose: his right ear pressed against the dial, left Hand turning the bezel – as if he were attempting to crack the code.

The crown, styled like a safe handle, reinforces the distinctive character of the piece.
On the case back, the engraving reads: “As airtight as a Swiss vault” a playful nod to Swiss banking secrecy, while guaranteeing water resistance.

Powered by a dependable Swiss movement, this watch embodies the perfect fusion of horological precision and the charm
of comic-book storytelling. A limited edition, it continues Chronofixe’s tradition 0f blending humor with fine watchmaking.
