The Maison celebrates its 100th anniversary with a special event in the Emirati city
19 November 2024 – Damiani, the high-end jewelry brand renowned around the world for its refined all-Italian creations, celebrates its 100th anniversary in Dubai with the exclusive “100X100 Italiani” event held at the Mandarin Oriental, one of the most stylish and luxurious hotels of the city.
Italianness – perceived as a set of values, aesthetics, poetics, arts and crafts that define the spirit of Italy – is the narrative theme of the event centered around the magnificent High Jewelry masterpieces created by the Maison to mark this extraordinary milestone. In a layout curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewelry Design at the Politecnico di Milano, the creations on show are the summation of Damiani’s 100-year history and epitomise five all-Italian values: the family, represented by the Damiani family; craftsmanship, interpreted by the Mimosa collection; creativity, expressed by the Margherita collection; history, defined by the Belle Époque collection; and passion, illustrated by the Fantasy Cut collection.
The event was followed by an exclusive gala dinner, attended by Guido and Silvia Damiani, respectively President and Vice-President of the Group, and by other acclaimed and distinguished guests from the world of fashion and cinema, such as actress Enjy Kiwan, influencer Carole Hannoun, influencer Victoria Abduly, singer and model Sasha Ray, model and actress Rym Saidi, presenter and actress Mahira Abdelaziz, entrepreneur Marmar, model Elvira Jane, model Farnoush Hamidian, influencer Sara Abdullah, presenter Anabella Hillal and journalist Diala Makki, who wore some of Damiani’s magnificent High Jewelry pieces for the occasion.
