DOXA x Gioielleria GRANDE present the first special series dedicated to Italy: “DOXA SUB 200 Grande Roma”

DOXA is proud to present, for the first time in its history, a SUB special series dedicated to Italy.

Developed in collaboration with its Roman partner Gioielleria GRANDE, the SUB 200 Grande Roma features an elegant gradient dial. Its caseback is engraved with the Colosseum in Rome, a universal symbol of strength, architecture, and memory.

The Eternal Magic of Rome

Some cities pass through the centuries. Rome inhabits them. A city of stone and light, of contrasts and continuity, the Italian capital blends ancient grandeur with unique contemporary vitality. Every alley, every square, every monument bears the imprint of a history that never fades — it transforms, reinvents itself, and endures. At the heart of this eternal city stands the Colosseum, a universal symbol of strength, architecture, and memory. More than a monument, it embodies an idea: beauty that withstands the test of time.

It is this energy — both timeless and vibrant — that inspires the DOXA SUB 200 Grande Roma, the first special series dedicated to the Italian market and the result of the collaboration between DOXA and Gioielleria Grande. More than 50 years after its launch, enriched by a unique history, the iconic SUB model is presented for the first time in a special series dedicated to Italy.

Today, a new SUB 200 is revealed in its most elegant version: a SUB 200 enhanced with a refined gradient dial and a caseback engraved with the Colosseum of Rome.

SUB 200, DOXA’s Accessible Icon

Within the DOXA collection, the SUB 200 embodies the very essence of the dive watch according to the Biel-based manufacture. Directly inspired by the historic models that defined the 1960s, it combines immediate legibility, proven robustness, and a strong visual identity.

With a 42 mm diameter, crafted from a single block of the highest-quality 316L stainless steel and water-resistant to 200 meters, the case is protected by a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal in a “glass box” style. The black unidirectional bezel and generously luminescent indices ensure optimal readability in all conditions.

Featuring three hands and a date window positioned at 3 o’clock, the diver is powered by a reliable Swiss automatic movement with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. It is presented on the iconic stainless steel “beads-of-rice” bracelet with a folding clasp and diving extension, and includes an additional lighter brown textile NATO strap with stainless steel pin buckle, delivered in the box.

The result is a reliable, robust, and exceptionally elegant Swiss dive watch, offered at a highly competitive price of EUR 1,590.00.

Gioielleria Grande, A Roman Reference for Discerning Watch Enthusiasts

Gioielleria Grande has established itself in Italy as a leading reference for demanding watch enthusiasts. As DOXA’s official partner in Rome, the maison cultivates an approach rooted in proximity, expertise, and the careful selection of brands with strong identities.

More than a retail space, Gioielleria Grande positions itself as a committed ambassador of Swiss watchmaking to the Italian public, prioritizing exclusive collaborations and meaningful special editions. With the SUB 200 Grande Roma, the jeweler affirms its local roots while strengthening its strategic relationship with DOXA, built on trust and long-term development.

Regarding this collaboration, Michele Grande highlights the shared vision uniting the two maisons:

“This collaboration with DOXA reflects Grande’s ambition to partner with iconic brands whose heritage, precision, and authenticity deeply resonate with our own values. The stylized Colosseum, along with the tone of the dial and the special packaging, forms the common thread of our limited-edition collaborations.”
