Blancpain presents two new Fifty Fathoms Automatique timepieces for women, introducing for the first time a 38 mm case to the iconic line.
Powerfully black, playfully pink, a feminine wave of the legend.
Her chapter in the story of the deep, bold and unmistakably her own.
The 38 mm case isn’t a size reduction, it’s a complete rework with redesigned and balanced, harmonious proportions.
Two new references debut, neither are limited editions: smoky black dégradé in 18 ct red gold, and petal pink dégradé in brushed titanium. Both models feature mother-of- pearl dials with subtly graduated black and pink coloring.
Sporty straps complete the look:
the pink model with a white fabric strap featuring two-tone pink stripes, and the black model available with a black tropic rubber, black sailcloth, or black fabric NATO strap.
Powered by Blancpain’s calibre 1153, with a 100-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring.
These timepieces pay tribute to the women taking action as part of the Blancpain Ocean Commitment, especially through the Ocean Photographer of the Year competition, and more particularly, the Female Fifty Fathoms Award.
This new 38 mm case size opens the door to future additions within the Fifty Fathoms family.

A new wave rises at Blancpain with two exquisite Fifty Fathoms Automatique timepieces designed for women captivated by the Ocean’s allure and spirit of exploration.
For the first time, these watches are housed in a refined 38 mm case, reinterpreting the iconic diver’s watch through a modern feminine lens.
Inspired by an observation from Jean-Jacques Fiechter – then CEO of Blancpain, a pioneer diver, and the father of the Fifty Fathoms – who noted that the female divers in his circle often consumed less air and stayed underwater longer, Blancpain proudly extends the Fifty Fathoms collection with timepieces that pay tribute to women’s adventurous spirit.
“These watches meet the growing demand for sporty, yet elegant timepieces perfectly tailored to slimmer wrists. They stand as a testament to our watchmaking heritage and to the women who, through their art and courage, reveal the wonders of the underwater world.”

A new 38 mm Chapter
Blancpain is making a significant move with the Fifty Fathoms line by introducing, for the first time, a 38 mm case size. This is no mere size reduction, Blancpain has thoughtfully redesigned the watch’s proportions to create a balanced, harmonious silhouette. The 38 mm addition completes the Fifty Fathoms family, offering options for every wrist and paving the way for future models in this size.
Powerfully Black, Playfully Pink Mother-of-pearl’s iridescence, a luminous treasure from the sea, takes center stage in these striking new models.
The black dial, with its mesmerizing dégradé effect, is paired with a polished 18 ct red gold case that gleams like fine jewelry on the wrist.
Complemented by a sophisticated yet comfortable tropic rubber strap, the smoky black dial and rich gold combine in an irresistible blend, perfect for making a statement from day to night.
The pink model radiates youthful energy. Its radiant petal mother-of-pearl dial is framed by a brushed titanium case with a subtle greyish tone, harmonizing beautifully with the luminescent pink bezel. The white strap, accented with electric and petal pink stripes, adds a playful, sporty twist, designed to stand out and move with vibrant energy.
Both watches offer Blancpain’s hallmark technical excellence, including the signature unidirectional domed sapphire bezel, 300-meter water resistance, and are powered by the automatic calibre 1153 boasting a 100-hour power reserve.
An Homage to the Ocean and Its Women
More than elegant timepieces, these watches embody the Blancpain Ocean Commitment, the Maison’s profound commitment to ocean preservation.
Launched in 2020 by Oceanographic
Magazine in partnership with Blancpain, the Ocean Photographer of the Year (OPY) is a global competition honouring exceptional Ocean photography across diverse categories. Established in 2021, the Female Fifty Fathoms Award specifically honours women photographers whose work highlights ocean conservation, capturing its beauty and fragility.
“The Female Fifty Fathoms Award not only celebrates artistic excellence but also the profound bond women share with the ocean. Now, for the first time, the Ocean Photographer of the Year has dedicated timepieces, forging a powerful link between ocean photography and Blancpain’s watchmaking legacy,” said Marc A. Hayek. “Each image tells a story of resilience and wonder, much like the spirit of these new watches, designed to empower women who lead with courage and creativity,” he concluded.
