Luxury Maison unveils its first leather collections of the season, infused with vivid colors and distinctive new shapes.
Inspired by a tradition of functionally elegant design, Montblanc leather collections continue to unveil new icons in bold colorways. Playing with the Maison’s timeless brand codes that find their inspiration in the world of writing, the Spring/Summer 2025 collections by Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta are defined by their essential lines, smart functionalities, and three new seasonal colors: smoky blue, a grey-toned shade of light blue; cassis, a rich burgundy color, and cayenna that blends vibrant tones of red and orange.
Extreme 3.0
Synonymous with life on the move and unexpected daily adventures, the Extreme 3.0 Collection brings durability and performance to fast-paced lifestyles. Balancing functionality with sleek contemporary styles, the collection continues to elevate its repertoire with a selection of key designs reimagined in the season’s deep cassis color and eye-catching cayenna shade.
Well-loved shapes reinterpreted in the cassis color include:
• The Thin Document Case, a stylish companion for business meetings.
• The Backpack with M LOCK 4810 buckle, a sporty and sleek piece highlighted by the mountaineering-inspired M LOCK 4810 closure.
• The Medium Backpack with 3 compartments, a dynamic option that offers spacious organization.

The season’s leather selection also introduces a new Extreme 3.0 Messenger in black. The design features a sturdy flap closure with angled corners which is secured with the collection’s mountaineering-inspired M LOCK 4810 buckle. An adjustable and detachable shoulder strap offers additional customization for all-day wear.
Meisterstück Collection
The Meisterstück writing instrument and its universally recognizable design cues continue to inspire Montblanc’s eponymous leather collection in brilliant leather. The season’s extended assortment sees the new cassis color feature on two of the collection’s hero shapes: the Montblanc 149 Bag, an overnight bag receiving its name from the largest size of the Meisterstück writing instrument (149), and the Document Case, an elevated companion for work.
An assortment of small leather goods in the colors of cassis and black complete the selection, including new card holder designs featuring a nib-shaped leather closure, and new sizes of the Pen Pouch, now accommodating up to 5 or 8 writing instruments.
Soft
Recognized for its comfort in supple leather and multi-use shapes, Montblanc’s Soft Collection places functional elements such as compartments on the outside of each piece, converting them into a notable part of the design.
The season’s smoky blue color adorns a selection of the collection’s key shapes, including:
• The 24/7 Bag, a versatile shape that can also be styled as backpack.
• The Medium Tote, offering everyday utility and organization.
• The Mini Bag, which transforms your Montblanc writing instrument into an accessory thanks to the bag’s external writing instrument holder.

Sartorial
The Sartorial Collection’s design codes – from ink bottle shapes to the envelope-like construction of the bags – pay tribute to the beauty and sensorial experience of handwriting in Saffiano leather. This season, Montblanc’s signature business collection unveils six new contemporary shapes in the colors of cassis and black.
These new designs include:
• A Small Suitcase, a refined companion for overnight trips featuring a large main compartment with a soft zipped divider, inner pockets for organization, and an easy-to-access external pocket in the shape of an envelope.
• A Tote, a comfortable design equally suited for heading to the office or navigating weekend errands.
• A Trio Messenger, combining geometric lines and optimal organization thanks to its three separate compartments: two secured by magnetic flaps on either side and a central zipped compartment.
• A Travel Case, designed to offer elevated functionality for light travel or everyday use, featuring a detachable shoulder strap for various styling options.
• A more compact Nano Travel Case, providing all utilities of the larger version in addition to an a front zipped pocket that keeps earbuds within easy reach.
• A Sling Bag, offering a contemporary cross-body design adapted from Montblanc’s Extreme 3.0 collection.
• An assortment of small leather goods including two new sizes of the Pen Pouch accommodating up to 5 or 8 writing instruments.
Existing Sartorial Collection shapes which have been reconceptualized in the cassis shade include the Thin Document Case, the Small Backpack and the Pochette.
Grain Collection
Introducing a new high-end collection characterized by the simple elegance and clean lines of elevated leather craftsmanship, Montblanc’s Grain Collection presents a new soft-to-the touch leather featuring a larger, slightly more textured grain.
The collection embraces some of Montblanc’s most recognizable leather shapes, such as the Meisterstück Collection’s Montblanc 149 Bag, Document Case, and Messenger. Additionally, the collection introduces a new Backpack design, crafted as a refined companion for daily commutes or short business trips in the collection’s signature granular leather. The new Backpack features stitching and zip pullers that echo the recognizable nib design, such as on the backpack’s top handle, a spacious main compartment with additional padding for a laptop, and a zipped external compartment for quick access.

The designs of Montblanc’s 4810 Collection are interpreted in luxurious leather with an embossed pattern that evokes the texture of tree bark, creating a sensorial link to the origins of paper and complementing the writing-inspired codes of the collection. For Spring/Summer 2025, the look of existing hero shapes including the Thin Document Case and the Mini Messenger are further enhanced by the cool-toned smoky blue color.
The season’s selection also introduces the following shapes:
• A Mini Backpack, a compact take on the collection’s existing backpack design.
• A Messenger, also available in black, featuring a layered flap closure.
• An assortment of small leather goods including a Wearable Mini Wallet that can be styled cross-body with a delicate shoulder strap.
#MY4810 Trolley
Created for travelers who seek functional yet stylish travel solutions, the #MY4810 trolley is a reliable, lightweight travel companion for overnight work trips, weekend escapes or odysseys to more distant destinations. For Spring/Summer 2025, three of the trolley sizes – cabin, cabin compact, and cabin with pocket – are reintroduced in the season’s cassis color, as well as a bold oversized version of the Extreme 3.0 pattern in black.
Montblanc’s #MY4810 trolleys, crafted from lightweight polycarbonate, feature 360° degree quiet-running ball-bearing wheels and multi-stop adjustable extension handle bar with a leather handle, making each trolley practical and comfortable to maneuver. On the inside, the luggage includes a black-lined interior with practical zipper-divided pockets to keep all belongings organized. An essential companion for any intrepid traveller.
