The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe
The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms made its debut in 1953 as the first true diver’s watch, designed as a tool for professional divers. Its daily-wear counterpart, the Bathyscaphe, followed in 1956, offering a more refined format with a reduced diameter for everyday use while still providing the capability to explore the seabed.
The 18K red gold bracelet
The production of the beautifully finished red gold bracelet involves a series of demanding assembly and finishing processes.
