The Glassbox Evolution: A Legacy of Innovation
Since its introduction in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera has set the benchmark for wristwatch chronographs, becoming a timeless symbol of precision engineering and elegance over the past six decades. Named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana Road race, Jack Heuer’s vision for the TAG Heuer Carrera quickly captivated racing enthusiasts and watch aficionados alike with its ultra-legible dial, classical profile, and groundbreaking precision.
In 2023, the Carrera celebrated its 60th anniversary with the re-introduction of the iconic glassbox design—a homage to Jack Heuer’s innovative use of a flange to display crucial information. The curved sapphire crystal not only enhances visibility but also preserves the essence of the original Carrera, marrying classic design with modern advancements.
TAG Heuer elevates the glassbox concept to new heights, unveiling a precious interpretation that integrates a diamond-set flange and chaton diamond indexes. This meticulous configuration ensures every detail, from the radiant diamonds to the craftsmanship of the dial, is showcased with supreme clarity from any angle on the wrist, much like the perfect legibility of the dial.

Preciousness Meets Sporty Energy in the TAG Heuer Carrera
This new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph debuts in two stunning variations. One in the TAG Heuer Carrera’s signature blue and the other one in a delicate powdery pink. These colors create a cohesive narrative within the collection, reflecting the feminine sophistication and versatile and timeless appeal of the collection.
The circular-brushed finish of the dial adds depth and texture, drawing the eye into its captivating design. This finish ensures that the surface remains legible under varying light conditions. The dial is structured around a bi-compax layout, where the subdials are thoughtfully arranged to maintain both functionality and aesthetic balance. The rhodium-plated hands offer impeccable clarity and precision in timekeeping, while a discreet date window at 6 o’clock ensures that all essential information is readily accessible without disrupting the dial’s harmonious symmetry.
Elegance is subtly woven into every aspect of these timepieces. The diamond-set flange, adorned with 72 diamonds totaling 0.45 carats, adds a layer of sophistication to these timepieces, exuding luxury.

An evolution of the Heuer 02 movement, the TH20-00 features a vertical clutch, column wheel, and bidirectional automatic rewinding, ensuring high precision, an impressive 80-hour power reserve, and a five-year extended warranty. The open caseback reveals the new finishings on the calibre, the new shield-shaped rotor, and the bidirectional mass, demonstrating the technical prowess that defines TAG Heuer’s watchmaking excellence.
