For the 2023 edition of the Salon, the general public was invited to join leading retailers, journalists and end clients, marking a successful turning point, as together they discovered the latest novelties from the 14 exhibiting Maisons.
Watches and Wonders Shanghai ended its third edition on a high note, with 12’000 unique visitors over the five days, including nearly 5’000 end clients and public visitors during the weekend. Social media shares helped expand
the reach of the Salon to an even larger audience of 75 million people. An air of excitement was palpable around the Salon’s halls, with international launches and the presence of Chinese celebrities such as actors Dilraba Dilmurat and Zhang Ruoyun, and former star swimmer Ning Zetao.
Guests were able to take advantage of introductory workshops, special exhibitions and presentations of different professional vocations that delivered a well-rounded and immersive experience, helping spark increased interest in watchmaking.
The weekend program in the Auditorium was a real success, with conferences such as Iconic Watches and Trends & Novelties 2023 filling the stands. Professionals, along with the general public, were also able to follow the
Salon in real time via the Watches and Wonders Shanghai WeChat platform.

Watches and Wonders Shanghai 2023 reaffirmed that it has become an essential platform for exchange, education and engagement in today’s fine watchmaking global community.
